Refund Policy
Last updated: 8/1/26
This Refund Policy applies to all services provided by Central Platforms.
1. General Policy
All cherry picker hire is provided with an operator and is classed as a service, not a product. As such, refunds are assessed in line with UK consumer and contract law applicable to services.
2. Cancellations by the Client
-
Cancellations made in advance may be eligible for a full or partial refund, subject to notice given and costs already incurred.
-
Late cancellations or failure to provide site access may result in charges to cover travel, time, and operational costs.
-
Cancellation terms will be confirmed at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations by Central Platforms
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule hire due to:
-
Severe weather
-
Mechanical issues
-
Circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Where we cancel and cannot provide a suitable alternative date, any payments made for the affected hire period will be refunded.

6. Emergency & Out-of-Hours Hire
Payments for 24/7 emergency call-outs, evening, or weekend hire are non-refundable once mobilised, due to the immediate nature of the service.
